Happily married, ethnology graduate, a bit of a feminist, big fan of vanilla latte, and Swedish. Find myself happy when taking part of hiking, teaching, drinking coffee, home improvements, decor, making webpages, dancing in the living room, gardening, everything outdoors, “computer-ing”, and traveling. I met my guy on an online dating site 7 years ago. I lived in Sweden, he lived in the United States. Well, love has no boundaries, so with tons of love in my suitcase I left Sweden as we decided to make our home in sunny California. In the fall of 2006 we decided to get married, and after 4 months of planning the wedding we got hitched in an old church in Sweden. We are still very impressed and touched with all the effort both national and international guests put into attending our wedding – flying in from the United States to share our very special and memorable day.

So here we are, 7 years later. Just as goofy, just as in love, and more than ever a greater feeling of being a strong team.

And yes, we have a baby, a furry one - above is our precious girl. Mommy says love you! {Very sadly, our dear furry baby girl passed away in July 2010 from kidney failure and we miss her like crazy… every day.}

But one day, about 10 months ago a lonely, 4 week old, male cat, had been dumped in a hedge together with his sibling. His two brothers were already adopted so I brought home this last little guy. He is great, crazy, and makes us laugh again. Don’t be fooled by that innocent face… he’s all trouble. ;)

The last addition to our family was added this June, when we brought home Pippa from the Humane Society. She is our little skunk/dairy cow, and she plays well together with her older brother.
